Growing up on Long Island meant there was tons of opportunity to get involved in the arts and community for Gabi. She began playing the violin when she was 8 years old and saxophone when she was 9. In the meantime, she was singing in county and state choirs while dancing and performing in community theaters. Her heavy involvement in the arts carried seamlessly over through college at the State University of New York at Oneonta, where she quickly immersed herself in the contemporary music industry and theater program. It was there that she studied under voice coach and actress, Colby Thomas, keyboardist, composer, and Spyro Gyra founding member, Jeremy Wall, and jazz musician and Music Department Chair, Robert Roman. The support of her professors and peers set a solid foundation for Gabi to jumpstart a career in the industry right out of college.

She spent her first summer after graduation in Barcelona, Spain, to perform and collaborate with entertainer and businessman, the “Golden Voice of Spain,” Lexter. It was here that she had her first musical residency at the Happy Rock Bar & Grill in Plaza Espanya while performing regularly at other clubs and popular restaurants such as Negro Rojo and Bestial Beach Club. She also signed her first publishing contract with Clippers Sounds in collaboration with record producer, Fonsi Nieto, on his 2018 album, “Ten”.

Currently, Gabi is living on Long Island progressing her career at rapid pace, playing at music clubs and private events in the city and surrounding area. She sings and plays saxophone for party band, East Coast Bandand performs in a wide range of musical scenarios, frequently collaborating with other musicians and DJ’s. She is also a part of the New Jersey-based SCE Event Group team and performed alongside Tekashi 6ix9ine, Walshy Fire of Major Lazer, and opened up with different groups for Lil Jon, Alesso, and Jesse McCartney.

Gabi is continuously working on her craft. In 2020, she started taking her online presence more seriously, having lost a full calendar worth of gigs due to the pandemic. By treating content-creation like a full-time job, grew her audience on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more, showing cover videos, the songwriting process, and other relatable and funny content. In February 2021, just about 1.5 after beginning to post regularly on the platform TikTok, she was recognized by the platform and featured in their “It Starts On TikTok” ad campaign, which even played during the Puppy Bowl and Super Bowl pre-show. Because of her TikTok and Instagram presence, she’s curated relationships with press, brands, and labels such as Syos Mouthpieces, Cheddar News, Amplify Her Voice, Gator, Logitech and more.

In mid-2020, she began a brand new original project, which she calls Enrose. Having written a ton of songs before and during quarantine, she managed to put together a group of musicians that were just as eager to take on a passion project as she was. They released their first single, “Comatose” on April 2, 2021 followed by their second single, “Wait, Create” on May 21, 2021. With an EP and more live shows coming, this is an important step for Gabi as she bridges the gap between being a working musician and recording artist. Gabi’s main writing style is R&B, particularly inspired by Erykah Badu, Anderson .Paak, Jill Scott, Grover Washington Jr., Amy Winehouse, Hiatus Kaiyote, and more. She brings an impressive mix of classic and contemporary style to her original music, and including saxophone makes it unique. With aspirations to become a strong female leader with a powerful voice in music industry, she will continue expanding her audience online and through exciting live performances.
